Hi, my name is Beverly Matos I am Puerto Rican and raised in New York City. I express creativity through my designs, which makes me who I am today. Since graduating from Fashion Industries I have specialized in fashion design and innovative elements. When I created my own label it was influenced by various influences from my childhood, it changed my perspective of having an input in the fashion world. The younger me would go around NYC especially Manhattan and view the fashionable clothes and unique styles in the display windows in various stores along Fashion Avenue. This influenced me as I got older and made me want to start my own brand and conduct my goals, not only in fashion but as an Independent Latina woman. My artistic background includes styling for high fashion designers, coordinating designs, creating custom-made clutches, purses, backpacks, lipstick cases, and clothing. Eval clutches have been shown in Fashion week in NYC, Madison Square Garden, The Intrepid Sea Museum, The DL on the lower east side, and Mist in Harlem. Today the essence of my collection is the culmination of all these experiences as a diverse set of artistic influence and personal influence. My work is multicultural and has an outlook yet vibrant in the lifestyle of New York. The development of my work is from within my heart and a demonstration of determination that I hope to share with everyone.
